Erection Problems

Dear Dr. Ava

Questions from Married Men by Dr. Ava Cadell

Erection Problems

Question: I recently got married to the woman of my dreams.  We did not have sex before we got married because she wanted to remain a virgin and I respected that.  The problem is that I’m having difficulty maintaining my erection for more than a few minutes before I come.  I’ve already tried the squeeze technique and the stop-start technique, but need something more expansive so that I can really strengthen my endurance. Are there such things as penis exercises?  I read somewhere that you are an expert on how to separate orgasm from ejaculation and I would really like to learn how to accomplish that.  I want to satisfy my wife, not that she’s complaining.  After all, she doesn’t have any other man to compare me to.  But, I want to be the best lover I can be so please help me and guide me through some endurance exercises that I can make part of my daily ritual.  I eagerly await your response.

Answer: It's my pleasure to give you some tips on penis exercises that will result in better endurance.  By regularly exercising your penis, you will increase blood flow to your genitals, be able to maintain an erection for longer, keep your prostate healthy, and even separate orgasm from ejaculation if you want to.  The P.C. muscle is the support muscle for the genitals in both men and women.  There is a definite correlation between good tone in the P.C. muscle and orgasmic intensity and control.  A quick way to identify the P.C. muscle is to urinate, then stop the flow of urine by squeezing your P.C. muscle, then urinate again.  After a few repetitions, most people are able to tighten this muscle without the involvement of urination.

Penis Lifts:

  1. Take a small hand towel and place it over the base of your penis when it is erect.  Then lift up the towel for 20 repetitions, 3 times a day, without using anything but your genital muscles.
  2. Once you can do that with ease, you move the hand towel to the head of your penis and lift it up for 20 repetitions, 3 times a day.
  3. When you have mastered that, you can get a bigger, heavier or wet towel and do the penis lifts as part of your regular workout.  The more muscle control you gain, the more control you will have over the duration of your erection.  To help you along and get even more enjoyment from your intimacy, treat yourself to one of my Tantric Love Boxes, Dr. Ava's Tantra Workbook, and most of all, relax.
